About
Chris Gladstone
Chris has been involved in the teaching profession throughout his 40 year career as both a teacher and a principal and has taught at all year levels – Years 1 through to 12. He has spent his entire teaching career in the south east corner of Queensland. His teaching career and his involvement in the education of boys was broadened by 16 years in the Army Reserve, serving the majority of his time with 49RQR based in SE Queensland. His involvement with boys’education continued in the military as the Commanding Officer of a school cadet unit for a number of years.
Chris has worked with Ian Lillico for the last eight years, organising and facilitating seminars and school PD across the eastern states and New Zealand.
He is now currently working with Ian under the banner of The Boys Forward Institute.
Family
Chris is married to Christine (19 years) and they have three children.....Rebecca (16) and identical twin boys, Hamish and Jacob (15). Christine works full time as an English teacher at a state high school on the north side of Brisbane. Rebecca is a Year 11 student at Mt Alvernia College and Hamish & Jacob are in Year 10 at Padua College.
Rebecca is a talented singer with the school choir and is a very dedicated and involved member of the school community. Hamish and Jacob are both talented sportsmen and spend most of their time playing sport, whilst their parents provide the taxi service.
